so very, very sorry to hear of this tragic loss. May the good memories live long in the lives of those he touched.

The Class of '69 will remember Mark at our 40th reunion -- the way he was then - young and full of promise. Cris Hicks-Usta

.Mark Horey, Gale Peters, Linda Lumb, Carolyn Holtz and myself ( Dave Buchholz) used to hang out at lunch and many Recesses together for years, through junior high and senior high. We even worked together for a while at the Sears catalog store in Transit Ttown Plaza back in our senior year. Mark was my best friend back then. His Mom used to work in the Guidance counselers office at the South as well. I went to his house on Ahrens St  many many times, swimming in the summer, throwing frisbees, bicycling evrywhere we could think of, and used to race  slot cars at Grell's hobbies back in the 60's. Our Favorite car was the Lemans Ford GT

Mark went  college in Florida while I was in the Air Force. Afterward we hung out to some degree, but eventually drifted apart when our respective lives went along each path. By then Mark was working for Ford Corporate, and I could telll the pressure was starting to get to him. It seemed to me that his personality was changing then. I guess it finally took it's toll in California.

I still keep him in my prayers at night. May God bless you Mark.

Dave Buchholz
