      Welcome to the

   Williamsville North &

    South High School

        Class Of 1969

             Web Site

Welcome to the Williamsville High School Reunion pages for the Class of 1969.  Here you'll find both classes - North and South - combined, as we were before we were ripped apart in our senior year.

That was over 40 years ago, of course.  Since then, we have enjoyed a few reunions - 10 years at Sunset Beach, 20 years at the Little White House, 25 years at The Protocol, and 40 years at the Ramada Inn by UB North.  Last year, we celebrated our collective 60th birthday party at a local church hall.  Bunches of people came to these - some of whom are no longer with us.  Bunches more have joined us in the electronic reunion here at Williamsville1969.org!

Billsville has changed a little and a lot.  There's still the annual Old Home Days celebration in July, a chance, regardless what year it is, to reconnect with a few people at the ol' beer tent.  The Eagle House still stands, and the Williamsville Mills host a newish farmer's market on Saturdays in the summer.   At our get-together last July, a small group took a walkabout the village from Williamsville South to the cemetery along Main Street, with a diversion here and there.  It was clear to see what parts have changed little, and what's changed the most.  But friendships seem to have weathered the torrent of years and changes we've experienced in-between unscathed, and we found ourselves more alike than ever.   Funny how that is.

If you find your friend here, reconnect with an email.  If you know where someone is that isn't here, send them the link!  To catch up on the day to day news, check out www.amherstbee.com and click on the New Archive link on the left towards the bottom to read free past issues.

Feel free to comment on our Message Forum.  And to join the reunion committee, which welcomes all, shoot a message to along to "Contact Us," and we'll get the message.  Meantime, catch up on who's here - and who's no longer here - and groove to some oldies.  Hope to see you at our 45th reunion in 2014 - wherever and whenever that is!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

For those of you unable to attend our class 60th birthday bash, you missed a great time of fun, food, and frivolity. There is an old saying that I learned in Girl Scouts--"make new friends, but keep the old, some are silver and the others are gold" Those words became so relevant this weekend. Even though many of my "gold" friends weren't present, if I didn't attend this event I would never have been able to add the precious "silver" to my cache.
Please think about attending our 45th reunion. You might be surprised to find a treasure that you didn't even know existed. I know that I have.
Thanks to all of you who helped put this event together and to all of you who added to its success.
Hope to see you again in 3 years.
Jackie Worrell Hitchcock

Hi Everyone---I posted some pictures from the weekend. You can find them on my profile. I haven't figured out how to put them anywhere else.
