Summer of 69 I went to my first and best concert series, Woodstock, now that was one heck of a first, nothing has ever come close to that. they have concerts at the site, one was HippieFest, held at Bethel Woods Center for the arts, they have a museum to remind us all of times gone by. they also had a reunion, 12 hrs of music in honor of Woodstock.
I lost over 100 lbs and became a bodybuilder in 1999. Bad enough I allowed myself to gain so much weight, but we all know the years get away from us. In 2002 I finally won my catagories, womens open and masters, The Show was the Northern States Super Natural, the picture was placed in the natural bodybuilding magazine. I was also honored to be chosen to be put in the book "Fit over 40". I competed in the ms/mr Buffalo, CanAm and Olympus, all the shows were in the buffalo area, I now have more than a dozen trophies to my name. What a ride, Those became the most memorable times for me.
I played flag footbal in Key West for several years, they have an international league, women from all over the country get together in February. I got my personal training certification as well as one for nutrition in 2003, I was getting ready for another show in 2004 when I was injured in a accident. I ended up with herniated cervical discs, a conscussion and dizzy spells. I herniated the disc in my back as well, no more bodybuilding, but what a ride. I worked for National Grid for 25 years, retiring after I got hurt, I always wanted to retire by the time I was 55 but not by being injured. Be careful what you wish for, you may not like the way you get it. It took a while to get use to being retired but I do enjoy not fighting the snow everyday.

School Story:

sports were always first to me, never was much of one for social life you guys voted most likely to be drafted at mill middle, plus loved the Friday nights, movie and gym, bus picked us up and took us home. Good Times! Kinda remember camp dufffield? I think the hardest thing was when they split our class. Living across the street I got to watch as they built North, as I recall they didn't have it finished by our graduation. Go Spartans! I know I missed South and the friends that were left there. I will always be grateful to my friends, you helped me make it through the tough times. thanks for making our schools and memories as good as they could be.

1969 first graduating class at North. No skipping for me, living across the street made that a little hard. Now my house is a Rite-aid store.
